As the weather gets frostier, more people are spending their evenings indoors, which is the perfect time to bake something comforting and delicious to warm you up on a chilly night.
Making a cake can be fun but it is easy to be put off if a is overly long or requires a massive shopping list of ingredients to make.
However, Ciara, a cook and founder of , has shared how you can the "most delicious and easiest" chocolate cake without even having to turn on the oven.
She said: "I'm all for recipes that are quick and easy to make and this Airfryer Chocolate Cake has to be up there as one of the most simplest but also most delicious recipes ever!"
Not only is this recipe quick as it takes less than 15 minutes to make from scratch, but it also requires just three ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen cupboard.
Ciara added: "It's also a brilliant recipe to make with the kids as it's so easy, perfect for children who lose concentration when a recipe is too long or overly complicated."
How to make a chocolate cake in the air fryer You will need:- 300g of chocolate spread (such as Nutella or a supermarket brand)
- 100g of plain flour
- Two medium eggs
- Butter or oil to grease a pan (optional)
To begin, add the flour, chocolate spread and eggs to a mixing bowl. Stir until all the ingredients and fully combined and you have a smooth cake batter.
If you have butter or oil available, grease the sides and bottom of the cake tin then add your chocolate cake batter.
Place in an air fryer and cook at 180C for 13 minutes. This cake is very fudgy and gooey, so if you wish for a firmer cake, cook for two to three minutes.
Once the cake is done, take it out of the air fryer and run a knife around the edge of the tin to make it easier to remove.
Then leave the cake in the cake tin to cool a little. Make sure to cut the cake into eight slices while it is still in the cake tin.
Ciara said: "Now here's the important part... cut the cake IN the tin once it has cooled a little. The first time I made it I tried to remove the cake and the whole thing fell apart!
"Cut the cake into eight triangles and then it's easy to remove them with a spatula."
Lift the cake slices out of the tin carefully and place them on a plate, and your tasty brownie-like chocolate cake is ready to serve.
Serve it with cream or custard if you wish but Ciara says she prefers to eat this cake with a dollop of Greek yoghurt and fresh berries.
