Bryson DeChambeau has just sold his £2.2million mega mansion in Dallas, Texas - and the buyer will be in for a life of luxury. The 31-year-old golfer has made quite the name for himself since making his pro debut back in 2016, going on to clinch two US Opens, nine wins, and two victories on the circut so far.

And thanks to his incredible tournament winnings and reported $44million (£33.6m) net worth, the golf star has been able to enjoy some of the finer things in life. Up until recently, the California native resided in a lavish 5,500 square-foot luxury home in the upmarket Melshire Estates area of Texas.

The abode was constructed in 2018 and bought by DeChambeau the very same year, and is a modern open-plan environment complete with all of the bells and whistles a golfer could hope for. It has a huge living area complete with a bustling fireplace, a tidy chef's kitchen complete with a large prep island, and a main bathroom boasting a free-standing tub.

The property has five bedrooms and five bathrooms in total, as well as all of the utilities to keep any go-getting golfer entertained. One room in which DeChambeau will undoubtedly have spent countless hours in is none other than the golfing simulator.

It's made up of a huge projector screen, a pitching turf and an abundance of room for club and ball storage. Speaking to about the room when giving a tour of his home, DeChambeau did however admit that there is one crux to the feature - that it's not large enough to practice driving in.

Speaking on the channel, he said: "It's kind of cool - not big enough for drivers so yes! I don't get to practice drivers - that's why I'm building a new house."

However, DeChambeau did admit that there's plenty of room for work with his irons to sharpen up in areas in which he feels he needs to. Elsewhere, the house also features a four-car garage which has been converted into a personal gym and a games room with a pool table.

But the outside also has a number of exciting features. There's a covered kitchen which is perfect for grilling season, a pool and spa, and even a cosy firepit for those cool autumn nights.

DeChambeau's former home initially hit the market back in April with a reasonable price of $3.2million (£2.4m) and while the final price for the property remains undisclosed, the most-recent asking price for it was $3million (£2.2m).

Speaking on the property, listing agent Jessica Smotherman of Rogers Healy and Associates - who is a friend of Dechambeau - said: "We love that house.

"We spent a lot of time in that house, and I know that he [DeChambeau] loves that house. He won his first major while living there. So we have a lot of really fond memories celebrating with family and friends and holidays and stuff in that house."
