BBC Strictly dealt devastating blow as Lorraine star could leave show

Strictly Come Dancing's 2025 line-up has been confirmed but only four celebrity favourites have been tipped to lift the Glitterball Trophy. The BBC announced the famous faces who will be gracing the Strictly dance floor last week, with news of their professional partners yet to be revealed. This year's celebrities include sporting stars, TV personalities to actors and models. But one celebrity cast member has been dealt a devastating blow as the latest odds revealed the show stars to be eliminated first from the competition. Ross King, who can be seen daily on ITV's Good Morning Britain and Lorraine as their Los Angeles correspondent, is the 7/4 favourite to be the first celebrity eliminated from the competition in a huge blow to the Scottish-born presenter, according to Gambling.com's Entertainment expert, James Leyfield.

Others in contention for an early exit include ex-England skipper Robshaw (15/8) and Neighbours actor Stefan Dennis (2/1), who are both 40/1 longshots to dance to Strictly victory this year. Former footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is 5/2 to be booted off the show first, and Game of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn - best known for playing Hodor in the HBO fantasy series - is 3/1 to be waltzed off of the dancefloor.

Meanwhile, Ellie Goldstein is the early 3/1 favourite to lift the Glitterball Trophy in this year's Strictly.

She is closely followed by Love Island winner Dani Dyer, who is 5/1.

British YouTuber George Clarke is third favourite at 13/2 followed by former Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison at 8/1.

Elsewhere in the lineup, Gladiators star Nitro, TV personality Dani Dyer, former pro footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and obligatory EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal will feature.

Drag queen La Voix, YouTuber George Clarke, former England rugby player Chris Robshaw and trailblazing Downs Syndrome model Ellie Goldstein are also set to star.

The launch date has not been announced yet but Strictly Come Dancing usually starts in August on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with daily weekday episodes of spin-off show Strictly It Takes Two following thereafter.

Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in September
