An Amazon vacuum cleaner that a user claimed is 'much better' than Shark is now available at half its usual price. The Avalsor Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has been reduced from £189.99 to £95.45 in a limited-time deal, offering a saving of £94.54.
This model boasts a motor that delivers up to 180,000 RPM for robust suction, effectively removing dust, dirt and hair from both carpet and hard floors. It comes with a flexible anti-tangle brush equipped with a comb structure to prevent hair from wrapping around the mechanism during cleaning, making it perfect for homes with pets.
Another notable feature is the LED lighting in the flexible brush head, which illuminates dark areas like under furniture, making it easier to spot dirt. The device also features a durable battery that can last for 65 minutes on the minimum suction mode, with a full charge taking four hours.
Users can easily switch between the Avalsor vacuum's three suction modes thanks to its LED touchscreen, which also allows for easy monitoring of battery level, power and maintenance. It operates quietly at less than 62 dB - approximately the volume of a normal conversation - and can be transformed into a handheld vacuum.
The Amazon vacuum is more than half the price of Shark's PowerPro Cordless Stick Vacuum (£179.99), which is praised for delivering 'exceptional cleaning performance' and 'powerful hair pickup'. Hoover also offers a budget-friendly device with the HF1+ Cordless Vacuum Cleaner (£99), which includes a tool specifically designed to clean pet hair, reports Bristol Live.
However, the Avalsor Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has impressed Amazon customers, with more than 2,000 being sold in the past month. The vacuum has also earned a 4.5-star rating from more than 2,300 reviews, with one hailing it as 'much better' than Shark.
One five star review said: "10/10. Brilliant vacuum, have previously owned a Shark and this was half the price and in my opinion much better, much lighter and easier to use."
Another said: "Great product and good value for money. I had a cordless Dyson before [and] this one is better. It doesn't get clogged with pet hair, it's lightweight, the light on the front is helpful for seeing dust, and it's quieter."
The same buyer also noted a flaw, adding: "My only criticism is the method to empty it. You have to scoop the debris out, whereas with Dyson there was a push system so hands didn't get dirty. Overall I give it 9.5/10."
Meanwhile, another five-star review praised the Avalsor: "A versatile, high functioning vacuum [that's] very easy to use and assemble. Lightweight so can be used for my car too which is a massive plus. Love the light on it when turned on. The attachments are handy. Stored in my cupboard easily due to weight and size. Very handy design."
