The first eviction has taken place from the house of Colors TV's reality show 'Bigg Boss 18'. Show host Salman Khan announced during Weekend Ka Vaar that the 19th contestant of the Bigg Boss house, Gadharaaj, is now out of the show.
Which contestants were named?
This week's eviction also included the names of Avinash Mishra, Chahat Pandey, Gunaratna Sadavarte, Karanvir Mehra, and Muskaan Bamne. But the Bigg Boss team kept all these contestants safe and decided to evict Donkey from the show.
PETA's appeal
It is being said that this decision was taken after an appeal by PETA. When Salman Khan announced Gadharaj's exit, everyone thought it was a joke. But in reality, Gadharaj stayed in the Bigg Boss house for a week.
The donkey used to stand all day in the small stable built in the garden area of Bigg Boss. On this, PETA appealed to the makers of Bigg Boss and Salman Khan not to use this mute animal for entertainment.
PETA statement
PETA said, "Many people have complained to us after seeing the donkey included in Bigg Boss 18. Using the donkey for entertainment in this way is a matter of concern for many people. We cannot ignore the trauma and trouble the donkey is going through." They also said that Gadharaj should be handed over to them so that he can be kept with other donkeys. However, there was no response to PETA's appeal from the channel or Salman.
Farewell to the Donkey
Now it seems that the makers of Bigg Boss have accepted PETA's demand and have removed Gadharaaj from the show without any nomination. This decision has brought relief to many people, because this kind of behavior with animals is not considered appropriate. This new twist of Bigg Boss show has become a topic of discussion for the audience. Gadharaaj's departure has once again proved that it is not right to use animals in the name of entertainment. Now it remains to be seen what new twists come in the Bigg Boss house next week and which contestants move forward.
