Delhi News Update: In a recent development, the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has decided to extend the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia, Delhi's former deputy CM, until July 15. This decision comes in light of a corruption case linked to an alleged excise policy "scam."

Sisodia was taken into custody by the CBI as part of their ongoing investigation into suspected irregularities surrounding the formulation and execution of Delhi's excise policy under the GNCTD.

Special Judge Kaveri Baweja presided over the hearing through video conference, where the extension was granted following the expiry of Sisodia's earlier judicial custody.

Sisodia was arrested by the CBI amid its investigation into suspected irregularities in the creation and execution of the excise policy in the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD).
