Mahindra's Swaraj Tractors Rolls Out Target 625: Enhancing Performance for Farmers

New Delhi: On Thursday, Swaraj Tractors, a part of the Mahindra Group, introduced its latest compact tractor model, the Target 625. This new model comes in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive options, as the company aims to strengthen its presence in India’s competitive agricultural machinery sector.

The Target 625 is designed with an 83.1 Nm torque diesel engine and adjustable track widths, making it ideal for farmers who want to adopt modern farming techniques while working in narrow fields. The tractor boasts several impressive features, including a lifting capacity of 980 kg, a power take-off (PTO) output of 14.09 kW, constant mesh transmission, and a digital instrument cluster for ease of use.

To tackle the issue of overheating during extended use, common in many agricultural settings, the Target 625 is equipped with "Max-Cool Radiator" technology, which ensures optimal performance.

While the company has yet to announce pricing details, there is a growing demand in the domestic tractor market for compact models that can efficiently manage various farming tasks without causing damage to crops during in-field movements.  Swaraj Tractors produces a wide range of tractors, offering models from 11.2 kW (15 HP) to 49.2 kW (65 HP) to meet diverse farming needs, including horticulture mechanisation.
