In several parts of the United Arab Emirates, heavy rainfall persisted from late Monday night until early Tuesday morning, leading to alarming situations. Following heavy showers in the capital city of Dubai, conditions resembling floods emerged. Water filled the streets, homes, and malls of Dubai after the heavy rainfall. Authorities issued warnings amidst the heavy rainfall.

National Weather Center has issued red alerts in many areas of the country, urging people to stay vigilant. The alert is in place until 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Additionally, Oman has also been ravaged by heavy rain, resulting in the deaths of 18 individuals. Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and other cities have also faced flood-like situations after heavy rainfall. Many major highways and airports have been flooded, severely impacting air travel. Due to the heavy rainfall, several people are reported missing.

According to reports, the National Weather Center has predicted heavy rainfall until Wednesday in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and other areas. Active meteorologist Ahmed Habib stated, "Not only heavy rainfall but also thunderstorms are possible in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and other regions of the UAE." People have been advised to park their vehicles away from flood-prone areas, in safe and elevated locations. Due to the rain, people have been instructed to offer prayers at home instead of mosques. Officers have recommended leaving home only if necessary.

Due to heavy rainfall and storms, Dubai International Airport was inundated with water. Over 50 flights were canceled. A spokesperson for Dubai Airport stated that although there were problems due to severe storms, they are now in recovery mode. Red Line services of Dubai Metro have been affected by the rain. Many metro stations have been flooded. Bus services between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman have also been disrupted. The situation escalated to the point where major shopping centers, Dubai Mall, and Mall of the Emirates were also flooded.
