The state government has started the process of appointing him to the post of District Basic Education Officer (BSA) under the International Medal Winner Direct Recruitment Rules-2022. A letter has been issued by the Director of Basic Education (Basic) in this regard.

This appointment is being given to Rinku Singh under the state government's policy under which players who bring glory to the country at the international level are being given respectable place in government services.
Rinku Singh's life is an example of struggle and success. He was born on 12 October 1997 in a simple family of Aligarh. His father worked as a cylinder distributor in Khanchandra Gas Agency. Rinku also initially helped his father in this work, but his passion for cricket pulled him to the field and he surprised everyone with his talent. He got initial recognition by winning the title in international school cricket on the DPS school ground.
After this, he stepped into the IPL and performed brilliantly in the year 2023 while playing for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The power of his bat made him popular across the country. Rinku then also participated in T20 and ODI matches for India. In the mega auction of IPL 2025, KKR included him in their team for Rs 13 crore. Recently Rinku Singh got engaged to SP MP Priya Saroj. The marriage of both was proposed on November 18 in Varanasi, but due to some reason it has been postponed for the time being. At present Rinku is busy in domestic cricket.
