Robin Uthappa was earlier a Hindu but then at the age of 25, he changed his religion and became a Christian. Uthappa, who has retired from Indian cricket, has contributed with both the bat and captaincy in helping Chicago win the NCL title.

In the final match, Chicago CC batted first and scored 160 runs for 4 wickets in 10 overs.
