16-year-old boy opened fire at a party in Florida, 10 people were injured, arrested

A large crowd gathered for a late-night show at Cabana Live in Sanford, about 32 kilometers north of Orlando. During this time many bullets were fired here. The sheriff's office said the injured suffered mainly lower limb injuries.

At least 10 people were injured in a shooting that took place during an argument in Sanford, Florida. A 16-year-old suspected teenager has been arrested in this case. None of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. A suspect was arrested after the shooting shortly after midnight.

Firing over a minor dispute

Sheriff's spokeswoman Kim Canaday said the incident started as a verbal dispute that escalated. The sheriff's office said a security guard at the venue subdued the suspect who fired the shots, who was taken to a juvenile detention center. However, it was not revealed what charges the teenager was facing.

According to its website, Cabana Live is a restaurant that hosts pool parties and other events. A post on its Facebook page on Sunday said a private party was being organized there when the shooting occurred. The social media post said that we are cooperating with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and praying for all those injured in this incident.
