NIMS University celebrates National Science Day 2025 with innovation, curiosity, and excellence

The National Institute of Engineering & Technology, in collaboration with the NIMS Sushma Innovation & Incubation Center, marked National Science Day with a vibrant celebration at NIMS University Rajasthan. The event was dedicated to fostering scientific curiosity, promoting innovation, and encouraging sustainable technological solutions among students —hallmarks of NIMS University’s academic vision.

The celebration began with a formal inauguration ceremony, featuring a traditional lamp-lighting ritual, a warm welcome address, and a keynote introduction highlighting the theme and national significance of the day. It set the tone for an engaging day of learning, discovery, and collaboration.

A key attraction of the day was the Quiz Competition, which tested students' scientific knowledge, logic, and teamwork in a high-energy environment.

The centerpiece of the event, the Innovation Showcase, allowed students to display their creativity and problem-solving skills through:

• Working Model Exhibition – Functional prototypes addressing real-world challenges, built by students using cutting-edge techniques and fresh perspectives.

• E-Poster Competition – A platform for digital storytelling through scientific research, innovation themes, and futuristic ideas.

• Quiz Competition – Another round of exciting scientific trivia and applied knowledge.

The event concluded with the announcement of winners, award distribution, and a vote of thanks to faculty, students, and organizers who made the day a success.

This celebration further highlighted NIMS University’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation-driven education, and interdisciplinary research.
