Sam Thompson has revealed whether or not he'd do hit show Strictly Come Dancing and which "dicey" dance he'd want to try out. The former Made in Chelsea star is best mates with Pete Wicks, who got to the semi-final last year.
When asked if he'd ever do Strictly, Sam told the Mirror: "I don't know. I've never been a talent guy. I don't really have a talent. That was the reason I'm A Celebrity was so good for me, I didn't have to do anything. I just had to go and make friends."
He emphasised that if he did do Strictly, he thinks his nerves would get in the way and stop him from being any good, but it would be "funny". "I get really nervous and I overthink everything, so I don't know how good I would be. But it would be quite funny."
Sam hosts a podcast with Pete called Staying Relevant and says that is the "most important" thing right now, and doing Strictly would be a "luxury" that he could do if he wanted to. "If I felt the time was right," he added. "Then yes."
When asked what dance he's want to do, he initially said the quickstep, "Where I'd be skipping and tapping my toes", but he then reconsidered and landed on something more "romantic" and "dicey".
"There's something about...What's the really romantic one? The Waltz, the Viennese Waltz! That's the one where everyone gets really dicey with each other. It gets real close, I'd love to do something like that."
Sam continued to say he thinks he'd be first out - but he does have a bit of dance training. "Pete's taught me to dance anyway." Pete started the show as a complete novice, not even knowing what Strictly was. "Pete's amazing, he's actually incredible at dancing now."
Though Sam isn't competing this year, Pete is still heading to live shows to support a pal, as his friend Vicky Pattison is taking part. The Geordie Shore star has been partnered with Kai Widdrington. In the first week, they danced a Cha Cha Cha to Ella Eyre's Best of My Love and followed that this week with a Foxtrot to Rein Me In by Sam Fender and Olivia Dean.

Vicky attended the live recording of Staying Relevant at the O2 in September. On Instagram she gushed about Pete and called his achievements "incredible".
Likewise, Sam told Mirror that Pete is his "one constant" through "massive highs and lows" and said he was really lucky to get to record a podcast with his best friend.
