is reportedly set to return with a brand new series after its explosive finale three years ago - however, fans can expect one major change to the reboot. The BAFTA-winning period drama came to an end in 2022, announcing that its sixth series would be its last.
While Peaky Blinders fans will already know that a film is currently in the works titled The Immortal Man, the show will reportedly be back on our TV screens in the near future with a new series that's set in Birmingham - but in the Fifties. A TV Insider told : "The sixth series of Peaky Blinders was supposed to be the last and the movie was meant to be the final farewell for the story.
“But show boss Steven Knight couldn’t resist coming back to the story — his most famous creation — and he’s been dropping hints he wanted to return to do more."

They added that the fact that the show has been officially green-lit by the will be "a huge thrill to fans of the show". The has reached out to the BBC for comment.
Earlier this year, creator Steven Knight , revealing that filming on the upcoming film finished in December.
"It's fantastic, I think we've got the best British actors all in one place," he said. "It's a very fitting way to end this part of the Peaky story." When asked what will happen to the show after the film, Steven said: "It's not over, let's just put it that way."
The Peaky Blinders film will see , with the movie set for release on . Meanwhile, Dune's Rebecca Ferguson, Saltburn star Barry Keoghan and Pulp Fiction's Tim Roth will be taking on roles in the feature length project.
Steven said last year: "I'm thrilled to see the cameras rolling on this new chapter of the Peaky Blinders story, set during World War II. The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders." While director Tom Harper added: "There's a great feeling of anticipation and excitement amongst our outstanding cast and crew.
"We're grateful to the fans for getting us to this point and believe this next chapter is going to deliver something extraordinary."
