Good Morning Britain star Susanna Reid has faced backlash after taking a "ridiculous" swipe at on Thursday (April 3).

While discussing President Donald Trump's fresh import tariffs with guests Ayesha Hazarika and Ed Vaizey, Susanna shifted the chat towards the Duchess of Sussex's newly minted lifestyle brand, As Ever.

Meghan's entrepreneurial venture took centre stage on Wednesday as she launched her line, with her items selling out in less than an hour.
The selection on offer included some delectable treats like crepe and cookie mixes, fancy flower sprinkles, raspberry jam, honey, and a range of teas, reports .

After debating Trump's tax measures, Susanna then said: "Right, the one question we haven't asked is how is this going to affect you if you've bought products from Meghan Markle's new range. Frankly, that is the big question this morning."
Ed chipped in: "A big question for who?" which led Susanna to explain: "For anyone who might want to buy them, but they've all sold out already."
Susanna continued to break down what exactly was included with the launch, singling out an £11 jar of jam, dubbed "raspberry spread".
"How much is that per spread?" Ed quipped, with Susanna adding: "I'm not quite sure, but they look quite small these jars of jam."
Regardless of the price, Susanna then acknowledged that these items are seen by many as "historic objects".
However, viewers were left fuming after brought up Meghan's latest endeavour, prompting a flurry of annoyed responses on X (formerly known as ).
"ENOUGH WITH THE MARKLE HATE @gmb! It's so pathetically BORING now," fumed one user, while another chimed in: "#GMB talking about trade deals and Susanna still had time to take a swipe at Meghan Markle."
