Her character spent months being held hostage in a nondescript industrial unit on the outskirts of London - and proving that life truly does imitate art, Patsy Palmer will soon be confined to the Celebrity house for three weeks.
The Celeb Big Brother compound was only a stone's throw away from the studios in Elstree, Hertfordshire before its move this year, but unlike when Bianca Jackson was at the mercy of unhinged wife killer Reiss Colwell, the 52-year-old will be given a comfortable bed, regular meals, and have plenty of company.
Patsy's appearance on the revamped reality show has thrilled fans who are hoping for exciting anecdotes about her tenure on the soap, and some glamorous tales from her life in Los Angeles.

She moved to California in 2014 alongside her husband, former cab driver Richard Markell. Patsy and Richard had been friends for fourteen years before their relationship turned romantic.
They wed in 2000, the same year that they welcomed their first child, a son named Fenton. They would go on to welcome their daughter Emilia a year later.
In December 2010 the couple had their third child, a son called Bertie.
Patsy told The Express that all three of her children with Richard were born by Caesarean section and "each one was pretty scary".
Patsy was already mum to Charlie, born in 1992, whose dad is boxer Alfie Rockwell.
At the start of their relationship, Patsy and Richard lived in Brighton, but they were inspired to swap the South Coast for the balmy climes of Malibu in 2014, two years after they renewed their vows in the Caribbean.
Unsurprisingly, Patsy and her family are very happy living in Malibu and have no plans to return to the UK permanently - especially as she has built up a lucrative second career as a DJ.
She told podcast Shuffle Skip Repeat that she is living her "dream life" in Malibu, adding "It's beautiful we live in our own little bubble, Malibu is it's own little place, we very much keep ourselves to ourselves and we have a lot of English friends.
"I pinch myself every morning when I wake up and see the ocean it's like a dream. But I've created that.
"I don't think I would live in England again. I would like to experience something else in life but I'm not too sure if I will."
However, she does often fly back for work. In 2023 she was a contestant on - and the dreary British January had her pining for her usual life.
She posted on Instagram: ''How I miss my magical sunrise rituals, my husband's cuddles and my children's energy , but we all have things to do in life that will sometimes test us and help us to remain grateful to be where we are wherever we are.''
In 2020, Patsy shocked fans after she was unmasked in the show, The Masked Singer. Before taking to the stage dressed as a butterfly, the judges were shown a video to give clues as to who would be under the disguise - with scenes showing someone spinning decks in California.
Fans who knew the star as 'Bianca Jackson' were left shocked at her new lifestyle, with one astonished fan tweeting at the time: “The most shocking bit wasn’t that it was Patsy, it was that she lives in Malibu and DJ’s???"
Patsy showed off her skills on the decks at the EastEnders 40th anniversary live episode wrap party.
Taking to her story, Patsy posted a video of the cast and crew dancing the night away. Amongst the party goers were co-stars Natalie Cassidy and .
Filming a video from her decks, Patsy posted a video of the cast and crew dancing in a bar, as Jacqueline pulled out all the moves. In the caption, Patsy penned: "A quick little DJ after the live with my crew! Well done everyone," alongside a range of red heart emojis. At the bottom of the video, she continued: "@jacjossa Love you so much."
