When tied the knot with three years ago, and David were seen grinning from ear to ear as their firstborn flew the nest in style. No expense was spared on the lavish $3m nuptials at Nicola's family's mansion in Florida as the stars of Hollywood gathered to toast the newlyweds.

Despite not commenting on his family's feued directly, Brooklyn made it very clear whose side he was on with his recent Instagram post.

Telling his wife he would 'always choose her', he shared a snap of the couple on a motorbike with the caption: "My whole x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby."

Nicola responded writing: "I've always got you baby," accompanied by a burning love heart emoji. However, an insider believes that Brooklyn's post was 'out of character' and maybe masterminded by Nicola.

"Brooklyn is now being referred to as “the hostage”. He is in a situation where those who love Brooklyn fear that he is being controlled by Nicola and it is heartbreaking," they told the

"Videos like this are just not what he does. He will be dying inside.

Very close to Nicola's family while slammed for ignoring his own

Brooklyn was bashed after paying tribute to his wife's late grandmother on social media on the first anniversary of her death.

The 26-year-old shared a heartfelt message along with photos online, triggering mixed reactions from fans who urged him to reconcile with his own parents amid their family feud.

In his tribute, - who has a whopping 70 tattoos of Nicola and her family - posted two photos showing him hugging Naunni writing: “Can’t believe it’s been a year without you naunni x you were always so happy and always made me laugh."

He added: “It makes me so sad to think of our future kids not being able to know you x you were one of a kind and we miss you everyday.”

However, the wannabe chef was told to think about his own family as well by fuming fans after missing David's milestone birthday.

'Never goes to family events anymore'

Fans thought Brooklyn's no-show at David's 50th was a first for the self-confessed "nutter in the kitchen". However, reports suggest Brooklyn regularly misses family events since he married Nicola.

A source told that Brooklyn and Nicola “never go to [Beckham] family events anymore” and have avoided visiting David and Victoria. However, Nicola's team say she used to be the one to encourage Brooklyn to see his family.

Victoria used to post snaps of Romeo, Cruz and Harper at family functions telling 'Buster' he was missed. David also told his son he missed him when Brooklyn failed to attend a trip for the former footballer with Romeo and Cruz.

Brooklyn also failed to meet up with dad David when the pair in London recently. Despite being a few miles apart when David was at the Chelsea Flower Show and Brooklyn was doing a photoshoot, their paths didn't cross. However, Nicola, who was also part of the photo shoot shared snaps of herself modelling Moncler clothes from a swanky hotel room.

The couple also had dinner with and in California, which reportedly left David and Victoria “blindsided” and “furious".

One insider claimed Meghanand Nicola had a “heart-to-heart” and bonded over being accused by critics of “tearing apart their husbands’ families.” However, Brooklyn has made it clear he's Team Nicola as the family feud rumbles on.
