EastEnders spoilers: Devastation as resident shot and Zoe and Kat finally reunite

BBC's EastEnders is set for its most dramatic weeks in months next week, spoilers have revealed.

Last week, we saw Okie show off his gun to Harry - and like many predicted, it's set to send devastation through the Square when one resident's life hangs in the balance after being shot on Patrick and Yolande's wedding day. But who is it?

If that wasn't enough drama, Zoe Slater is finally set to make her permanent returnto the Square on Monday as the soap teases the 'mother of all reunions' when she finally comes face to face. Beforehand, Kat is frantically searching for Tommy after he left to go and find Zoe.

She's relieved when she finally hears his voice but instead of being reunited with one child, she's reunited with two, as nothing can prepare her for what she sees when Zoe makes her return after two decades.

Of course, Kat is desperate to speak to Zoe - but as we could have already predicted, things aren't going to be fine and dandy for the mother-daughter duo...

The week starts off with proposed celebrations as Patrick and Yolande finally prepare to tie the knot, however, everyone knows weddings don't go to plan in soap land. And this one is set to take one of the darkest turns yet...

Away from the wedding, Jack is left horrified when Oscar shows him the gun he's found. It comes after Harry buried the gun, and later found it it was gone.

Not wanting to get into anymore trouble, Oscar begs Jack to help him dispose of the gun but unbeknownst to them Ravi overhears their conversation.

A desperate Ravi sneaks into No. 27 to retrieve the gun, but his ex Denise sees all and immediately tells Jack what's going down - and what happens next is set to leave the Square devastated.

The residents, who are celebrating at Patrick and Yolande's wedding reception left stunned when they learn a gunshot has been heard. Things from bad to worse when they learn who has been shot and a life hangs in the balance, but whose life is in grave danger?

EastEnders aren't giving anything away in the spoilers, and it's not the only thing they're keeping on the hush. On Thursday, we're set to learn what's been going on in Zoe's life since she left Walford - but will her secret finally be revealed?

Many fans have suspected that she is Joel Marshall's mum, but will this be the case? Or will it be something different all together?
