Changunarayan Temple
It is considered to be the oldest temple in Nepal. Situated at an altitude of 1,372 to 2,191 meters above sea level, Changunarayan Temple is one of the famous pilgrimage sites of Nepal. Changunarayan Temple was built by King Shri Haridatta Verma of the Lichchhavi period in 323 BC. Changunarayan Temple is also one of the seven world heritage sites located in the Kathmandu Valley. The statue of Sheshnag along with Lord Vishnu can be seen in Changunarayan Temple.
