Krishna's birthplace
This is the place where Lord Krishna was born by Devaki Maiyya, you can visit the prison cell where the Lord was born. After birth, the baby was carried across the Yamuna River by his father Vasudev. Gokul is 12 km from the birthplace. Walking through the streets of Mathura, you can feel the spiritual energy and connect with the origins of Krishna's remarkable life.

Dwarkadhish Temple
This temple was built in 1814 and is located near Vishram Ghat. Here you will find artworks depicting Lord Krishna and the events related to him. This temple is full of devotees throughout the year but it is more crowded during Janmashtami.

Ramanreti
Ramanreti is about 12 km from Mathura. This is a very beautiful place. It is said that Lord Krishna used to play Raman i.e. roll around here with his friends. Even today the soil here has the same purity. Raman Reti has sand and wonderful huts all around. The banks of Yamuna further enhance the beauty of this place. The beauty of this place seems to be more than Rishikesh. There is also a deer sanctuary, and some beautiful temples near Raman Reti. You must visit here.

Govardhan Hill

Located close to Vrindavan, Govardhan Hill is a popular spot for devotees and tourists alike. Govardhan Hill or Giri Raj is located at a distance of 22 km from Vrindavan. The holy Bhagwat Gita states that according to Lord Krishna, Govardhan Hill is associated with him. Therefore, all his worshippers worship the rocks of the hill like they worship his idol. The hill is made of sandstone and is 80 feet high with a circumference of 38 km. There are some interesting places to visit on the hills including Manasi Ganga, Mukharvind, and Daan Valley. This hill is considered extremely sacred.

Brahmand Ghat

According to the Puranas, Brahmand Ghat is the ghat where Lord Shri Krishna had enjoyed the Braj dust and when Mother Yashoda asked him, he showed her the entire universe in his mouth. Countless universes, countless Brahmas, Vishnus, Maheshs, and the animate and inanimate world, everything was visible in Kanhaiya's mouth. At this place, devotees offer prasad of clay balls in the temple of Lord Krishna at Brahmand Ghat. It is believed that drinking a sip of Yamuna river water has a deep effect.

Kusum Sarovar

Kusum Sarovar, located near Radha Kunj, is one of the major places in Mathura. This lake is 450 feet long and about 60 feet deep. It is named Kusum Sarovar after Radha. It is believed that Radha used to come to meet Krishna near this lake. The water of this lake is calm and clear, many people also swim in it. The main attraction here is the evening aarti which many tourists do not forget to capture in their cameras.
