Mother caught her daughter in objectionable situation

This case is from Parkhande Ahilya Nagar village of Khalapur tehsil of Raigad district. The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Sangeeta Maruti Jhore, while the accused have been identified as 20-year-old Bharti Jhore and 34-year-old Santosh Nandgaonkar. The daughter along with her lover first strangled her mother and then tried to hide the body. The accused also tried to save themselves and destroy evidence after this entire incident.

Daughter killed her mother with the help of her lover

After the murder, the accused wrapped Sangeeta's body in a sari and hung it on an iron rod so that it would not look like a murder, but their conspiracy failed when Bharti's younger sister Surekha Jhore saw them doing all this. Surekha immediately informed her relatives about this after seeing her mother's body in this condition. With the help of relatives, the police was informed about this matter, after which the police immediately reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem.
