Even today, crores of people in the country are living below the poverty line. Due to poverty, even today women living in cities and border areas use traditional resources like wood, cow dung cakes, coal, etc. for cooking. Cooking food using these traditional resources emits many harmful gases. Due to this, women have to face many breathing problems.
Given this problem, the Government of India is running the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Under the PM Ujjwala Yojana, the Government of India is giving the benefit of free LPG gas cylinders to the economically weaker women of the country. If you also want to take advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, then today we are going to tell you which women get the benefit of PM Ujjwala Yojana. Let's know -
Only women get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Men cannot take advantage of this scheme. Only women living below the poverty line can take advantage of the scheme.
The benefit of the scheme is available to those women who are 18 years or older. On the other hand, if you already have an LPG gas cylinder, then you will not get the benefit of this scheme.
