PM Kisan Yojana: Can both farmer husband and wife apply in the scheme and avail the benefit of the 18th installment? Know the details

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is an ambitious scheme run by the Government of India. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the small and marginal farmers of the country. Crores of farmers in the country are taking advantage of this great scheme of the Government of India. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand is provided to the poor farmers of the country every year. This financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand is released in the form of three installments every year. Under each installment, an amount of Rs 2 thousand is sent to the farmers' account. So far, farmers have got the benefit of a total of 17 installments of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

At the same time, many farmers in the country often have questions whether both farmer husband and wife can apply together in the scheme and avail of the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

You should know that the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is available to only one member of a family. Both husband and wife cannot avail the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana together. The benefit of the scheme is available to only that member of the family in whose name the land is registered.

In a special program organized in Varanasi in June, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 17th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. After getting the benefit of the 17th installment, crores of farmers in the country are now eagerly waiting for the 18th installment.

If media reports are to be believed, the central government can release the 18th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in October before Diwali. However, the government has not yet made any official announcement regarding the release of the 18th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
