If you also want to take advantage of the PM Awas Yojana, then know that you must have a BPL card
If your income is low, then you are considered eligible for the scheme.

If you already have a permanent house in a rural or urban area
If you run a company
If you do any business
If you pay a tax
You are in a government job or any member of your family has a government job etc.
