Every season has its own needs, so we should change our habits accordingly. This helps in maintaining good health. Therefore, we should say goodbye to old winter habits in summer.

Summer Health Tips : The weather has completely changed. Winters are gone and summers have arrived. The temperature in many places has crossed 40 degrees. Humidity and temperature are constantly increasing. With this change in weather, the needs of our body have also changed. But some people are still holding on to winter habits. Maintaining some habits of the cold season in summer can be dangerous.
This can cause serious damage to health. In such a situation, these should be given up immediately. Let us know what are those winter habits that are very important to change as soon as summer arrives.
1. Drink lukewarm water
Drinking lukewarm water is beneficial in winters, but in summers this habit can make you a victim of dehydration. In summers, cold or normal temperature water is needed so that the body temperature remains balanced. In this season, keep drinking small amounts of water repeatedly throughout the day. Also take lemonade, coconut water or bael juice.
2. Stay away from heavy and fried food
In winters, parathas, ghee, cream, hot pakoras are all fine, but in summers these can put a strain on the digestive system. These can cause problems like acidity, gas, lethargy. Therefore, in this season, eat light, cold and water-rich foods like cucumber, watermelon, curd, buttermilk. Avoid too much spices and fried food.
3. Skip layering and warm clothes
Wearing winter woolen or layered clothes in summer can cause skin allergies, sweating and infection. It will also be difficult to wear it. Wear cotton, light and loose clothes when the temperature rises. Light colored fabrics do not absorb heat and keep the body temperature balanced.
4. Sleeping late is no longer beneficial
It is common to sleep late in winters and lie under the blanket, but in summers it can make the body lethargic. In this season the sun rises early and the body should start its active time early. For this, follow a regular routine, get up early in the morning, do light exercise or walk.
5. Use sunscreen instead of moisturising
Skin becomes dry in winters, so moisturizer is necessary, but in summers the skin needs sun protection, in this season use sunscreen instead of moisturizer. When the heat increases, apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or more, cover the skin before going out in the sun.
