A girl's naked, decapitated body was found on the highway. The police was there all night, then who committed the blind murder?

Kanpur: There has been a stir after the headless body of a girl was found on the Delhi Highway on the outskirts of Kanpur. The special thing is that when the body was found, there was not a single piece of clothing on the girl's body. Looking at the body, it seemed that the girl was badly tortured before being killed as marks of injury and multiple fractures were clearly visible on her hands and legs. It is suspected that the girl was raped or gang-raped, after which she was murdered. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem.

Sensation due to finding a decapitated corpse

Actually this unclaimed dead body was found on the elevated road adjacent to the national highway in Kanpur. Since the head of the dead body was missing, the news of finding the decapitated body created panic in the area. People gathered on the road in large numbers. The crime scene could be cleared of people only after the arrival of top police officials.

A dead body without clothes was seen in the middle of the road

This incident happened near Munna Tiraha in Gujaini area of Kanpur, which is connected to the elevated road connecting National Highway No. 2. There is usually traffic on this road day and night, but the surprising thing is that from last night till morning, no one saw the dead body lying on the road. At least no one informed the police about it. But as soon as it was morning, a crowd gathered at the spot after seeing the headless body without clothes and people informed the police about it. The police was also surprised to get this information because the police night patrol teams were patrolling this area throughout the night, then neither did they see this dead body nor did anyone else inform about its presence there. The surprising thing was that the dead body was lying in the middle of the road, in such a situation no one could ignore it and move ahead. It seemed that someone had thrown the dead body from a moving vehicle on the highway in a hurry or due to fear of getting caught.

No eyewitness to the murder was found

However, looking at the dead body, it is being assumed that the girl was murdered somewhere else and after that, to hide her identity, her head was cut off and thrown on the road. But till now the police has neither found any eyewitness of the murder nor has the CCTV been able to identify the vehicle through which the dead body was brought here. At present, no such clue, i.e. any ID or purse-like thing has been found near the dead body which can directly identify the dead girl. Therefore, identifying this headless body with the help of a watch recovered from the dead body and the clothes which have turned into tatters has remained a big challenge for the police.

If it is an accident case then where did the head disappear?

At present, the police is trying to find out by scanning the CCTVs of the nearby toll and the area on the highway, which vehicle brought this dead body to the crime scene. Because looking at the dead body, it is clear that this murder did not happen on the road. However, the police has also expressed the suspicion that this could be a case of accident in which the head of the deceased got separated from the body due to the high speed of the vehicle that hit the girl and her clothes got torn. However, the police has no answer to the question that if this is a case of accident, then why was the head of the deceased not recovered from the vicinity. At present, the police has sent the girl's body to the mortuary for postmortem and is trying to identify the body by interrogating the people of the area. Along with this, a list of missing people from the surrounding area is being taken out and the deceased is being matched with them.
