In a shocking incident in Pune's Ambegaon taluka, a human thumb was found inside a laddu purchased from a sweet shop in Dimbhe, causing panic in the area and raising serious concerns about food safety in the regions.
Sakal reported the incident came to light when the family of Ramchandra Potkule, a resident of Gohe Budruk, brought laddus from a local outlet. While eating the sweets at home, the family was horrified to discover a human finger (thumb) inside one of the laddus.
Following the incident, some family members experienced vomiting and diarrhea and were admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
