A video of the same surfaced on social media as the right-handed batter found himself entirely stuck to the ground, forcing the English batters to settle for the single.

Meanwhile, England captain Ben Stokes had won an important toss and elected to bat first at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground. Both sides have made one change to their XI, with the hosts already announcing a day before about Jofra Archer replacing Josh Tongue. Meanwhile, Indian skipper Shubman Gill announced that Jasprit Bumrah has replaced Prasidh Krishna.
