Hanshika's Journey
Hanshika's journey to the NDA began in ninth grade when she learned of women joining the establishment. Inspired by this progression, she hoped to become a naval officer, a dream her parents endorsed though she had excelled academically, scoring an impressive 98% on her Class X tests. They put faith in her passion and pushed her to chase her vision.
The successes of Hanshika and Jui now encourage numerous youthful ladies aiming to enlist in the armed forces. Their accomplishments underline the effectiveness of GSPI's training program and the growing opportunities for females in India's defence services.
About GSPI
Established in 2022, the Nashik-based GSPI was created by the state government following the national decision to integrate females into the National Defence Academy. The academy selects 30 girls each year through a statewide entrance exam, furnishing them with comprehensive preparation over two years to get ready for the NDA written assessment and Services Selection Board meeting.
