Delhi Road Rage: Man Celebrating Birthday With Friend Stabbed To Death In Ghazipur Area

New Delhi: A shocking incident of road rage surfaced from Delhi, where a man celebrating his birthday with his friend was stabbed to death in the Ghazipur area of the National Capital Territory (NCT) on Wednesday night. The victim has been identified as Vikas.

Vikas was sitting inside his car along with his friend Sumit when a man on a two-wheeler brushed past his vehicle, reported NDTV.The incident took place near a liquor shop in the Paper Market area.

Vikas confronted the ride, and an argument broke out between the two, Sumit told the police, as reported by the media house, citing sources. The matter escalated, and the rider called his friends.

At least six friends of the ride arrived, and they reportedly thrashed Vikas and Sumit with rods. The accused allegedly stabbed Vikas. He died on the spot. After thrashing the duo, the accused fled from the spot.

Sumit was taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital. Due to his critical condition, he was referred to a private hospital. Vikas is a resident of Faridabad and was scheduled to get married, reported NDTV, citing sources.

However, the deceased sued to stay in a PG in Noida. Notably, Sumit and Vikas worked in a private insurance company in Noida..

A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter. The police started a manhunt operation to nab all the accused.
