According to Pinkvilla, Deepika Padukone will be in the lead role in Shahrukh's film King. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this action thriller will start shooting in Mumbai from May 18. It also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Abhay Verma, Arshad Warsi and Jaideep Ahlawat. Initially Deepika was not going to join the shooting due to spending time with her newborn daughter.
However, due to the delay in the shooting of the film, she is now ready to join the shooting. It has 10 to 12 days of shooting for Deepika, making it an extended cameo.
