Pakistan asks international partners for loans, citing 'heavy losses inflicted by enemy'

Pakistan's government appealed on Friday to international partners, including the World Bank, for more loans, citing "heavy losses inflicted by enemy", following military strikes by India on Wednesday.

"Amid escalating war and stocks crash, we urge international partners to help de-escalate," the government's economic affairs division said in a post on X.
