ITC Chairman and Managing Director Sanjiv Puri drew a total remuneration of Rs 25.66 crore in FY 2024-25, marginally higher than the Rs 25.28 crore he earned the year before, reported News18, citing the company's Annual Report 2025.
Puri’s pay for the year comprised Rs 3.53 crore as basic salary, Rs 73.46 lakh in perquisites and other benefits, and a performance bonus of Rs 21.39 crore.
In FY24, he had received Rs 3.12 crore in salary, Rs 57.7 lakh in perks, and Rs 21.48 crore in bonus. The report also stated that his pay is 377 times the median employee salary at ITC, which rose by 7% over the previous year.
In addition to his salary, Puri was granted 1,34,500 stock options in FY25. As of March 2025, he held 4,52,843 ordinary shares of the company. In FY23, he had seen a 54.38% surge in remuneration when he was paid Rs 16.31 crore.
The ITC CMD has been with ITC since January 1986 and has led the company as Chairman and MD since 2019. He also serves as the President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
