Ishan Kishan led Sunrisers Hyderabad's charge with an unbeaten 94 runs off just 48 balls as the team piled up 231/6 in 20 overs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Friday.
Kishan, who had a torrid time with the bat after a century in the first match of the season, found his form back as he creamed seven fours and five sixes.
Abhishek Sharma gave a strong platform as he scored 34 runs off only 17 balls in the powerplay, including three fours and as many sixes. Heinrich Klaasen and Aniket Verma played little cameos 24 runs and 26 runs, respectively. Verma played just nine balls for his knock.
For RCB, Romario Shephard grabbed two wickets but bowled just two overs as he was introduced later in the innings. All the other bowlers had a tough time, leaking boundaries at regularly.
