Demi Moore, the renowned Hollywood actress, humorously disclosed the reason for her single status while promoting her latest film, The Substance, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Appearing radiant in a pink sleeveless dress, Moore charmed the audience with her candid remarks and anecdotes about her beloved pets.

During her appearance, Moore gushed about her tiny canine companion, Pilaf, whom she affectionately described as a "magical creature." Pilaf recently graced the cover of Dogue magazine, a spin-off of Vogue. Moore explained how this came to be, saying, "Vogue did a 'Dogue Days of Summer,' and of course, she had to be positioned as the cover girl."

Demi Moore's Eccentric Nighttime Routine

Fallon shared a heartwarming clip showing Moore's dogs eagerly awaiting her return home. He then inquired whether she sleeps with her dogs, to which Moore admitted, "Yes, I sleep with the dogs. If anybody saw my nighttime routine if it was filmed, they would see how eccentric I really am." She elaborated on her elaborate bedtime setup, saying, "I have to prop pillows so the ones that are this size have the ability to get under the covers. I have two beds for the little ones so that they have the bed within the bed."

The audience laughed as Moore detailed her nightly ritual. Fallon remarked on her devotion to her pets, to which Moore quipped, "Hence why I'm single."

Moore, 61, has previously been married to Freddy Moore, Bruce Willis, and Ashton Kutcher, and had notable relationships with Emilio Estevez and Jon Cryer. Her current single status, she joked, is partly due to her meticulous care for her pets.

Demi Moore's Career and Upcoming Film

In addition to her personal anecdotes, Moore expressed pride in her performance in The Substance. The film, which also stars Dakota Fanning and Dennis Quaid, will be released in theaters in the US and UK on September 20. Moore portrays Elisabeth Sparkle, a popular aerobics instructor who faces a dramatic career setback on her 50th birthday. A laboratory offers her an experimental substance promising to enhance her life, leading to a unique exploration of aging.

"This one is such a unique, out-of-the-box way of delving into the subject matter of aging," Moore said of the film. The discussion highlighted both her professional achievements and her affectionate relationship with her pets, offering a glimpse into her life beyond the spotlight.
