Sanjay Kumar, former chief strategy and revenue officer at IndiGo has joined as president and CEO of InterGlobe Technology Quotient, a travel technology company of the same group that operates the airline.
Kumar had been IndiGo’s chief commercial officer from 2007 to 2018 and headed its strategy and revenue operations between 2020 and 2023.
In the interim, he was chief operating officer at AirAsia India, which is now a subsidiary of the Tata group owned Air India.
An aviation veteran, Kumar started his career in 1991 with Air Sahara, later bought by Jet Airways. He was part of the startup team and laid the initial plans for low fare carrier SpiceJet.
