The record was shattered in the 40th match of IPL 2025 between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Lucknow on April 22, 2025. LSG played first and posted 159/6. DC chased the target comfortably, winning by 8 wickets with 13 balls remaining.
