Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], November 9 (ANI): The Telangana Drugs Control Administration busted the illegal stocking and sale of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances in private hospitals in Hyderabad in a joint operation carried along with the Prohibition and Excise Department.
The search operation was conducted in private hospitals including the Bakoban Hospital, Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad and BVK Reddy Hospital, Warasiguda, Boudhnagar, Secunderabad.
Huge stocks of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances including Fentanyl injections, Ketamine injections, and Midazolam injections were seized during the joint operation.
These narcotic drugs and substances were illegally stocked for sale at the hospitals without an NDPS license, as well as Psychotropic Substances.
During the raid, narcotic drugs were seized from the possession of the accused, Abdul Rahman, owner of Bakoban Hospital and T Naresh Kumar at the BVK Reddy Hospital.
Cases have been registered under the NDPS Act at Charminar Prohibition & Excise Station and Musheerabad Prohibition & Excise Station against the accused.
Further investigation shall be carried out and action shall be taken as per the law against all the offenders. (ANI)
