New Delhi [India], September 5 (ANI): Hitting out at the Congress Government in Telengana, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao said that the dark days of Congress rule are back, highighting issues pertaining to farmers in the state on Wednesday.
In a social media post in X, KT Rama Rao noted down the issues faced by the farmers in the state and said that in just nine months under this "haphazard" government, the face of agriculture has drastically changed in the state.
"The dark days of Congress rule is back. Power cuts, queues for seeds, struggle to get fertilisers, sleeping outside banks for tokens for farm loan waivers--in just 9 months under this haphazard government, the face of agriculture drastically changed," he said.
Sharing a photo that allegedly shows farmers sleeping outside a bank without getting tokens to renew their loans in Siddipet district, KT Rama Rao said that this will haunt everyone in the state who understands the importance of agriculture.

"This image will haunt everyone in the state who understands the importance of agriculture! If we can't help the hand that feeds us, what is the purpose of this administration? From a record paddy production in 2023 to this state of affairs in record time!!! Just Congress things," he added.
He further took a dig at Congress following the alleged sacking of 2,000 teachers in the SC Gurukul schools, stating that it was "highly shameful" and "shows ignorance" in understanding the importance of these institutions for the educational development of underprivileged students.

"Highly shameful of the Congress Govt to sack 2,000 teachers working in the SC Gurukul schools. It truly shows your ignorance in understanding the importance of these institutions and your ill motives to undermine the successful development of educational opportunities for the underprivileged students," he said.
Earlier, following the Union Cabinet's approval for setting up India's fifth semiconductor manufacturing unit in Gujarat on Monday, Rama Rao criticised the Telengana government after Kaynes Semicon Pvt Ltd, the company responsible for setting up the manufacturing unit, had announced plans to set up a unit in Gujarat. According to the Revanth Reddy government Kaynes's plans to set up a unit in Gujarat would have no impact on its plans for manufacturing in Telangana. (ANI)
