Jhajjar (Haryana) [India], September 15 (ANI): Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda said there is only a two-way battle in Haryana for the upcoming assembly polls and it is between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Addressing a public meeting on Sunday, the former Haryana Chief Minister said that the battle is between Congress and the BJP and also urged the voters not to vote for anyone else. He further said that it was time for the change in governance, as it had been 10 years and the people could judge on the work that the current BJP-led government had done and the previous Congress-led government had done.
"Today in Haryana, the battle is between Congress and BJP... Do not waste your vote on anyone who is trying to get in from the middle... It is time to change the government here. It's been 10 years, you must have seen. Just look at the work we have done during our reign and then look at the work that they have done," Hooda said.
He further announced that their government will increase the pension amount for the elderly to Rs 6,000 and will also make LPG cylinders available at Rs 500.

"We will release our manifesto, but I am telling you a few things that our government will do. We will make a pension of Rs 6,000 for the elderly. LPG cylinders will be available for Rs 500," he added.
Hooda also showed confidence in the support of the people of Haryana and said that the next government would be formed by the Congress party.

"The way we are getting support from the people of Haryana, it is evident that the next government will be the government of the Congress party," he said. (ANI)
