Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive is marking its second consecutive appearance at EICMA in Milan. Following last year’s debut of the F99 concept, the company has kept up the momentum by unveiling an exciting new model, the Concept X electric adventure motorcycle, developed on the F77 platform .
Ultraviolette Concept X ADV: What we know
While still in early development, Concept X features a stunning adventure motorcycle design . Key highlights of the concept include a single-piece handlebar, high-mounted, beak-like front fender, chunky tank extensions, triangular yellow-tinted headlamp, a single-piece seat and an exposed battery pack encased within crash guards. Other features include gold-finished USD forks, a rear monoshock, and a long swingarm. For stopping power, it gets disc brakes on both ends featuring dual-channel ABS which are likely to be switchable when the bike hits its production stage. Moreover, the motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod in road-biased tyres - hinting at its versatility.
While detailed specs remain undisclosed, it's expected that Concept X may share battery options with the F77 Mach 2, which offers a 7.1 kWh standard battery or a larger 10.3 kWh battery in its Recon trim.
Alongside the Concept X, Ultraviolette also introduced the F77 Mach 2 to the European market at EICMA. With a top speed of 155 kmph, a range up to 323 km, the F77 Mach 2 is available in Europe starting at 9,990 Euro, approximately Rs. 9.02 lakh.
