Tata.ev, the EV subsidiary of Tata Motors and India’s best-selling EV manufacturer, has launched its first 10 high-speed MegaChargers across major highways in India. These chargers have been set up in collaboration with ChargeZone and Statiq, and are part of the company’s ambitious plan to double its charging points to 400,000 by 2027.

The new MegaChargers have been installed to ensure seamless long-distance travel for electric vehicle owners. As for the locations where these fast-charging units have been deployed, three have been set up along the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Highway at Shreenath Food Hub in Vadodara, Shanti Complex in Vapi, and Hotel Xpress Inn at Ghodbunder. These stations are spaced 150–200 km apart. Notably, the Vadodara site features a flagship 400 kW charger capable of adding up to 150 km of range in just 15 minutes while simultaneously charging six vehicles.
The Delhi–Jaipur Highway has also been equipped with four units at key locations including SS Plaza in Gurugram, Hotel Old Rao in Kaprivas, Asli Pappu Dhaba in Hamzapur, and Hotel Highway King in Shahpura. These chargers, spaced at intervals of 60 km, offer 120 kW fast charging capabilities.
Similarly, they have also been deployed on the Pune–Nashik Highway at Akash Misal House in Rajgurunagar. Meanwhile, Bengaluru’s Electronic City now hosts a MegaCharger at Monk Mansion. In Udaipur, Tata.ev has introduced another MegaCharger at Ramee Royal Resort.

Tata EV owners stand to benefit significantly from this new network, with perks such as up to 25% discounts on charging tariffs, priority service, and convenient access to partner CPO networks via the iRA.ev app. Each MegaCharger is supported by 24x7 customer service and on-site personnel to assist users.
