This plant, as per the company, is capable of producing 1,00,000 units annually.

The initial batch of motorcycles will undergo stringent testing and homologation procedures, including ARAI certification and on-road safety evaluations, ensuring adherence to the quality and performance standards.

Furthermore, Raptee plans to inaugurate its maiden store at its Chennai facility. This outlet will serve as a point of sale and will also provide consumers with guided tours of the manufacturing facility to witness the motorcycle production process firsthand.

Raptee says that its upcoming range of motorcycles feature a host of patented technologies, including a high-voltage drivetrain for enhanced performance, seamless charging utilizing existing CCS2 infrastructure, and advanced driver assistance systems for safety. While the company has kept more details about the EV under the wraps, it has said that the bike will offer rapid charging capabilities, reaching 80% battery capacity in just 45 minutes.
