Oben Rorr EZ e-motorcycle launched in India at Rs 89,999: 80% charge in just 45 minutes

Bengaluru based startup Oben electric today announced the launch of Oben Rorr EZ electric motorcycle. The e-motorcycle is offered in three variants with prices starting from Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom) for a limited period. Interested customers can book the bike online or by visiting their nearest dealership with booking amount set at Rs 2,999. The company also said that the test rides and the deliveries are available immediately.

The e-bike is offered in four colour options - Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green and Photon White. The bike is built on an ARX framework and features a Neo-classic design with a round LED headlight upfront, a floating digital cluster and vibrant graphics all around the bike. Other highlights include multi-spoke alloy wheels, telescopic front suspension with a mini shock setup at the rear, LED taillights, disc brakes on both ends and much more.


Talking about the battery, range and e-motor. As mentioned previously, it’s offered with these battery pack options - 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh. It features an LFP battery pack with patented tech. All three variants have a top speed of 95 kph and can sprint from 0-40 kph in 3.3 seconds. The battery is paired with an e-motor with 52 nm torque and has a claimed range of 175 km on one full charge.

In terms of features, it gets an LED instrument cluster, UBA, geo-fencing, theft protection, and DAS. It has three drive modes - Eco, City and Havoc. Oben also claims that the battery can be charged to 80% in just 45 minutes. Interested customers can opt for comprehensive warranty packages, with coverage up to 5 years or 75,000 kms.
