Hyundai has updated its popular sedan Verna with minor upgrades, giving it refreshed elements since the launch of its latest-gen iteration back in March 2023. The latest update sees a price increase of Rs 4,000 across all trims, excluding the base EX variant, which still starts at Rs 11 lakh, ex-showroom.

As for the upgrades, the model now features a sporty boot-lid spoiler and a brand-new Amazon Grey colour option. The Verna is a strong competitor in the mid-size sedan segment alongside the Honda City, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus. The carmaker offers the sedan with two 1.5-litre petrol engine options. The NA version generates 115 hp and 144 Nm, while the turbocharged variant produces 160 hp and 253 Nm. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, IVT, and a DCT for the turbo model. The updated pricing for the model across all trims are mentioned below.
Inside, the sedan comes well-equipped with features including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting with 64 colour options, ventilated and heated front seats, and an air purifier among other features.
The top-end trim also integrates Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), adding safety functions like front-collision warning, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. Other key safety features include six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, and ESC as standard across the lineup.
