BMW X7 Signature Edition launched at Rs 1.33 crore: Design, features, engine and more

BMW has expanded its lineup in India with the launch of the X7 Signature Edition luxury crossover SUV, priced from Rs 1.33 crore, ex-showroom. The model will be produced locally at the company’s Chennai plant and can be booked via the BMW Online Shop.

In terms of design, the X7 gets an updated front fascia featuring refreshed signature kidney grilles with chrome accents. Besides that, it gets BMW 7 Series-inspired Swarovski crystal DRLs, 3D taillights with smoked glass effects. Other highlights include aluminium-finished roof rails and exterior elements. The model will be available in two exclusive paint options—Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey.

The new BMW X7Signature's interior carries over the luxury touch from its exterior. A standout feature is the floating BMW Curved Display, seamlessly integrated into the cockpit. Other highlights include a leather-wrapped instrument panel, ambient lighting in 14 colours, and crystal accents. The Sky Lounge Panoramic sunroof adds space and light, while rear passengers enjoy leather Merino Captain Seats, Alcantara cushions, and a Harman Kardon sound system. The split tailgate offers hands-free operation, with a spacious boot capacity of up to 2,120 litres.

BMW X7 Signature Edition: Engine
Under the hood, the X7 xDrive40i is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine that produces an impressive 381 hp and 520 Nm of torque, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.8 seconds. The engine is complemented by a 48V mild-hybrid system, adding 12 hp and 200 Nm of additional torque for enhanced performance and fuel efficiency. It comes mated to an eight-speed Steptronic transmission. This edition will only be available in the xDrive40i petrol variant.
