Sometimes WhatsApp accounts are banned due to the company's misunderstanding and sometimes due to the user's mistake. If your account has been banned, you will see a message when you open the app. An account is banned if it is involved in spam or fraud.
If your account has been banned by mistake, then there will be an appeal option at the bottom. On clicking the appeal option, an email option will appear. After that, tap on Request Investigation from your email ID.
Upon requesting an investigation, a 6-digit registration code will come on your number. After entering the code, you will be able to request an investigation and after this, the ban can be removed from your account.
