UPSC IFS Main Exam 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the e-admit card for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Main Exam on November 14, 2024. The exam will be held on November 24. Candidates who have been found eligible for this exam will be able to download their admit card from the official website of UPSC. On the above date.
Apart from this, the admit card can also be downloaded at upsconline.nic.in. Candidates have to download the admit card using their login credentials.
No paper admit card will be issued.
UPSC has clarified that no paper admit card will be issued for this exam. Candidates should carefully read the "Important Instructions" given along with the e-admit card.
Candidates will be required to show a printout of their e-admit card and an identity card to enter the examination center. If a candidate does not show this document, he will not get entry into the examination hall.
Ensure correct information on the official admit card.
Candidates must ensure that all the details like name, photo, and QR code on their admit card are correct. If any mistake or discrepancy is found in it, candidates must immediately report it by email.
UPSC IFS Main Exam 2024: Exam Day Guidelines
The UPSC IFS Main Exam 2024 will be conducted in two sessions:
Session 1: 9 AM to 12 PM
Session 2: 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM
On the day of the exam, entry will be closed 30 minutes before the candidates enter the exam center. The following are the guidelines to be followed on the exam day:
1. Valuable items, mobile phones, and other gadgets: Carrying expensive items, mobile phones, smart watches, or other IT devices near the exam center is prohibited.
2. Permitted Items: Candidates will be allowed to bring only the following items to the exam hall:

Pen, pencil, identity proof, and photocopies (as required)
Other items as per the instructions on the e-Admit Card
3. Use of Pen: Candidates are advised to use black ballpoint pens to enter the attendance list.
4. Action on Violation: Violation of exam guidelines may result in an FIR or police complaint being filed against the candidate and he/she may also be barred from appearing in the exam in the next session.
Instructions regarding name change
If you have changed your name legally, you must bring along a government-issued identity card and the name change notification published in the gazette during the exam. Apart from this, you will also have to submit an undertaking certifying that you have completed all the required procedures regarding the name change.
