Sainik School TGT PGT Recruitment 2025: Recruitment of teachers in Sainik School, a golden opportunity for B.Ed holders!

Sainik School Bhubaneswar (Odisha) has released a notification for recruitment to the posts of TGT and PGT teachers. These appointments will be made for subjects like Mathematics, Biology and Social Sciences. Interested candidates can apply till 8 August 2025.

Which posts are vacant?

Recruitment is being done for a total of three posts. Of these, two posts are for PGT - one for Biology and one for Social Science subject. While one post is for TGT Mathematics. Recruitment of PGT (Biology) will be on regular basis, while the other two posts will be on contract basis.

What should be the qualification?

Candidates applying for these posts should have a bachelor's or master's degree in the relevant subject and a B.Ed degree is also required. This degree should be from an institute recognized by NCTE. Those with joint degrees can also apply. Candidates are advised to read the detailed notification by visiting the official website before applying.

What is the age limit?

The maximum age for TGT (Mathematics) and PGT (Social Science) should be 35 years.

The maximum age of the candidate for PGT (Biology) has been fixed at 40 years.

The minimum age has been kept at 21 years for all posts.

How much salary will be received?

PGT (Biology) will be paid Rs 47,600 per month

TGT (Mathematics) and PGT (Social Science) will be paid Rs 54,000 per month.

What will be the selection process?

The selection will be done through written test, skill test and interview. First there will be a written test, in which the candidates who get the minimum marks will be called for further process.

What is the application fee?

A fee of Rs 400 will be charged to apply, which has to be deposited online. However, women, SC and ST category candidates are exempted from the fee.
