NEET UG 2025 exam, one of the toughest exams in India, will be conducted on May 4, for which the police across the country are also alert and are warning the students to avoid any kind of rumors. Meanwhile, the Economic Offenses Unit of Bihar Police has also issued a notice and warned the general public and candidates against rumors and fraudulent calls being made by cyber fraudsters to candidates and parents. Cyber fraudsters are luring to provide answer sheets before the NEET UG exam to be held on May 4 across the country.
The Economic Offenses Unit of Bihar Police issued an advisory last Friday saying, 'People are advised not to fall prey to misinformation and fraudulent calls by cybercriminals. There is a possibility that anti-social elements or cyber criminals may try to disrupt the sanctity of the examination through rumors on social media platforms.
Action will be taken against criminals.
This advisory further states that if people get any such wrong information, then immediately inform the police. Bihar Police says that we advise people to avoid falling prey to such fraudulent activities and those who will be found involved in such activities will have to face serious consequences including legal action. Criminal action will be taken against those involved in such activities.
The Economic Offenses Unit of Bihar Police last month arrested Sanjeev Kumar Singh alias Sanjeev Mukhiya, the alleged mastermind of the NEET UG 2024 paper leak case and wanted in several other cases, from Patna. He was wanted in connection with his involvement in the paper leak case of the Bihar Public Service Commission teacher recruitment exam held in March 2024. The CBI is investigating this case. Officials say that Sanjeev Mukhiya's gang is spread from Bihar to Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
NEET UG Exam Pattern
The NEET UG exam will be of total 720 marks. 180 questions will be asked in this, which will be solved in 3 hours. Each question will be of 4 marks i.e. the candidate will get 4 marks for giving the correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted as negative marking for every wrong answer. The result of NEET UG 2025 can be announced by 14 June 2025.
